Your ring size
Each region has its own ring sizing systems. At Aina Termens Jewels, we use the European sizing system, a measurement standard established in the 20th century to unify ring sizing across Europe. This system is based on the internal circumference of the ring, expressed in millimeters, with finger sizes ranging from 41 to 76. If you know your ring size in another country’s sizing system, we’ve prepared a specific conversion chart just for you.

The grid is divided into columns according to the measurement system of each country. Find your size and follow the row to see which European size corresponds to yours. It might fall between two sizes. In that case, check the millimeters carefully and choose the size that is closest to yours.
If you have no idea what your ring size is (in any sizing system), let me explain how to find it:
Step 1: Choose the Finger
The first step is deciding which finger you want to wear the ring on (or which finger the person you’re gifting it to will wear it on). It may seem obvious, but it’s worth taking a moment to consider. There can be small differences between the fingers of one hand and the other.
It’s also helpful to observe the shape of your fingers: sometimes, the knuckles are wider than the proximal phalanx. This means the ring might feel a bit loose around the proximal phalanx but needs to be that way so it can slide over the knuckle.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that fingers tend to swell slightly in warm temperatures. This means your size may vary slightly between summer and winter. Over the years, the shape of your fingers can also change, just as the rest of your body does.
All of these factors should be considered when finding the most comfortable fit for your ring. We’re sharing this information to help you, but don’t worry—at Aina Termens Jewels, we’re always here to resize your ring if needed (we can make it larger or smaller). So, if the initial size isn’t perfect, rest assured—we’ve got you covered!
Now that we’ve chosen the finger for the ring, there are two options:
A) If you already have a ring that fits the finger you have chosen
In this case, you only need to measure the inner diameter of the ring you already have.
Rings that work best for the method we’re about to explain are flat ones, such as wedding bands. If you have a ring that’s very bulky or uneven in height from one side to the other, it’s also a good idea to measure your finger size to ensure accuracy.
Print our size guide document at 100% scale.
Verify the print size by placing a ruler or your bank card on the paper to ensure it matches the guide's dimensions.
Place your ring on the document and find the circle that perfectly matches the inner diameter of the ring. Make sure it’s the inner diameter, leaving no space between the inside edge of the ring and the circle. Remember, even a difference of 1mm can result in a ring that is too loose or too tight. Pay close attention to the images provided below.
Once you’ve found the circle that perfectly aligns with the inner diameter of your ring, you’ve identified your ring size.

B) If you don’t have a ring
In this case, you’ll need to measure the finger where the ring will be worn. Use our carefully crafted printable ring sizer, and here’s how to use it:
Print the page at 100% so the measurements are accurate. It’s best to use slightly thicker paper to prevent it from tearing easily (120 gr or thicker if you prefer).
After printing, check that the size is correct using a ruler or by placing your bank card over its designated marker on the page.
Once you’ve printed it to the correct scale, carefully cut out the ring sizer. Don’t forget to cut along the line where the numbered strip will be threaded through.
After cutting it out, pass the numbered strip through the slit and wrap it around your finger until you find your size.
Keep in mind that the numbers are written vertically, starting with 44, then 45, and so on. When wrapping it around your finger, make sure to tighten it a little. Remember that a 1mm difference can result in a loose fit, so be cautious and ensure the measurement matches your finger exactly.
